RaceGrade IMSA Michelin Series Leader Light Driver ID Complete Kit

The IMSA Michelin Series Leader Light Position Panel will have the following features and specifications that we believe meet the expectations laid out in the request. The hardware solution includes two PV0091(LED panel) and one RG OTC (driver ID module) per vehicle along with a harness set to connect the pieces together and integrate the system into the vehicle.

PV0091 Features:

  • A flexible panel incorporating:
    • Four through-hole mounting points
    • The ability of the panel to follow complex contouring
  • A two-digit 7-segment color display comprised of 156 individual LEDs
    • A pallet of eight IMSA defined RGB derived colors assigned as desired
  • Custom firmware to integrate the following capabilities:
    • Car number (up to number 99)
    • Car position in class (up to 99th position) o Pit Stop Timer (up to 99 seconds)
    • Engine status (running or stalled)
    • Directly receive CAN data from in-vehicle X2 transponder
    • Panel status diagnostics transmitted via CAN for logging purposes
  • CAN Communications per IMSA WeatherTech specification:
    • Design Standard: ISO 11898-2
    • Message format: 2.0A (11-bit identifier)
    • Baud Rate: 1 Mbit/sec
    • CAN termination resistor: Not required
    • One CAN bus connection
  • Power Requirements:
    • 4.0 A © 12v full brightness white color (all 3 LED dies active at max brightness)
    • 1.75 A @ 12v full brightness single color (single LED die active at max brightness)

    • Driver ID sent to X2 transponder at each track loop
    • Driver ID value sent 5x on start up
    • Number of total transmission available for diagnostics
  • LED Output
    • Flashes Driver ID number (1-5) on power up
    • Flashes Driver ID number (1-5) on driver change
  • Power Requirements:
    • 100 mA max current draw
